Cap off, then inflate
Pull the inflate cap fully off first, the step most people miss. Then squeeze the built-in pump 30–40 times, where most drivers find it comfortable. Press the cap firmly back on to seal. No separate pump, no blowing.
Dial it in
Sit down, then adjust. Too firm? Press the red release button to let some air out. Need more support? Add a few pumps. You can do both without getting up. Most drivers settle around 60–80% full, not fully inflated.

Yes, as long as the inflate cap is pressed firmly back on after you inflate. If it's left open, air escapes every time you shift your weight or hit a bump, which is the usual reason a cushion goes soft halfway through the day. Sealed, it holds pressure shift after shift.
